Vacherousse d'Argental is a very smooth, creamy French cheese, made from fresh cow's milk produced in the Lyonnais region of France. The rind of the cheese is first washed with brine and annatto and is then matured for a minimum of 2 weeks, during this time the exterior develops an orange and white couloured rind.
